General Rules and Procedures

How Do I : Search For and Maintain Entities

1. A ProgenNET Entity is defined as anything that can be located or identified by a Key ID field or fields, eg. Divisions, Land, Operators, Transactions, etc.
2. Entities are accessed by either the Search push button or by typing in their ID value and hitting the [Enter] or [Tab] keys to retrieve any associated values.

 How Do I : Find the Application (screen) I need

Possible ways to navigate to the Application you need are:

• Access to Applications via a standard Windows - top of the screen Menu Bar - Menu Tree Component (including Menu Bar)
• Access to Applications via an Outlook style Menu Tree - Menu Tree Component (including Menu Bar)
• Access to an Operator's nominated Maintenance Applications and their Entities via: Favourites Component
• Access to an Operator's most recently used Applications and their Entities via: Most Recently Used Component
• Access to Applications via Process Flow graphics: Processes View Component
• Access to an individual record within an Application via the Log-On / Navigator or the Navigator
